Nuggets acquire two more rotational pieces. A backup point guard and a 3 & D wing. Both players are currently not being played at all but would find minutes on the nuggets roster. And they could get them for cheap. Champagne would be great to put in CBs spot when more shooting and better defense is needed. Him alongside cam Johnson on the wings would be ideal for Denver anyway. Adding two more knock down shooters for pennies is a no-brainer.

Washington currently isn’t playing Champagnie at all. With this trade they at least get a young player with a high ceiling to develop. Sarr and Holmes could be their two side by side big men of their future.

Atlanta takes on an expiring contract (team option next year) and gets two second round picks for a guy that’s currently seeing zero minutes anyway and has no place in the rotation.
