Based largely off of speculation from Pistons Locked On Podcast (Not a great source of trade speculation, I know) of Duren and #5 for Ingram and #21. Pistons add in Sasser to get #17 instead of #21 from the Pelicans and draft Tristan Da Silva, who I think has the potential to be a poor mans Keegan Murray in terms of his role in the NBA. I do not think Da Silva realistically falls to 21, hence the inclusion of Sasser to get #17 instead. Pelicans probably prefer to push the Lakers pick back a year but maybe Alvarado's upcoming FA and just more shooting around Zion is enough to push the deal through.
Cade, GTJ, Ingram, Fontecchio, and Claxton are your starters. Bench is Ivey, Grimes, Ausar, Da Silva, and Stewart. Deep reserves are DSJ, Troy Brown, Liddell and Muscala. If the Pistons are determined to improve next year at the expense of a couple young assets, this might be my favorite scenario on paper. In actuality, Ingrams injury issues are pretty terrifying but he does give the Pistons a bonafide 2nd creator with Cade.
Trade goes through successfully without the FA additions, it appears the trade failure is because FA additions are being included in the trade parameters for some reason.
