Before anyone types it out, MIA will NOT trade Jacquez. They would sooner run it back with the team that just made the Finals, now with Herro and Jacquez.

HEAT:

Heat make this trade because they desperately need some ball handling prowess in the halfcourt. This move lets Duncan Robinson slide into the starting 2 spot, (heat have a winning record with him starting this season). Duncan is a way better off ball player than herro and fits the core of Jimmy/Spida/Bam perfectly.

They send out as much draft capital as possible to compensate for holding Jaime back, who the cavs would surely desire but the heat will not let him go. Byrant is only in there for salary, herro+jovic isnt enough due to new 2nd apron rules.

Mitchell / Robinson / Jimmy / Highsmith / Bam

Lowry / Richardson / Jaime / Martin / Love

CAVS:

Cavaliers would only do this trade if they are convinced Mitchell is about to become an expiring and not sign long term. If that is the case and the league sees he's not staying his value will drop WAY lower, as teams will think he's a risk to sign somewhere he wants to go instead.

With Garland and Mobley injured, if the Cavs start to look unsteady Its possible Mitchell gets moved, and he's listed Miami as a destination before. Meaning Miami is probably one of the only teams (Knicks and Nets are in this list too) that would be confident that they could extend him after a trade.

Herro fits next to a pass first like Garland and can play off ball and space really well for Mobley and Allen. This season he's been a much better shooter than even Mitchell (41% > 34%), so he should have no problem shoring up the offense. Honestly Cavs wouldn't even be taking a huge step back at all. Jovic is showing his playmaking chops with increased minutes and could easily slot in to the cavs a rotation wing or even a backup pg given the buzz about ricky rubio.
