Oh it's this stuff again
So for starters my favorite music album is "Gameshow" by Two Door Cinema Club, I'm not going to explain why, if you for some reason really want to know my opinions you can ask in the comments.
To get this started:
I am going to find references to NBA franchise names in the lyrics of all the tracks on the album (using the deluxe edition btw), so words that are close to NBA franchises names.
Those will be the teams in the trade.
Next I'm going to do the same think for the players in the trade, but obviously I won't find "Terry Rozier" casually im the Album, so you'll I needed to get creative.
So let's start!
The teams:
In track 6 "Fever", there are 2 teams that I got from this track.
The first word is pretty obvious, "Fever" is in the name and I know the Indiana Fever are a WNBA team, but you can let it slide as the Pacers, those are the same city.
The other NBA team I got from this song I also got track 11 (deluxe edition bonus) "Gasoline" and it's the Heat, both songs mentioned the word "fire", which is pretty self explainatory to was why I think it's close to Heat.
(The lines are:
"There's a fire in my head" in the first verse of 'Fever' and "I'd start a fire all the same" in the chorus of 'Gasoline')
The next word appears on track 9 "Surgery" and it's "gun" which I connected to the Wizards, now some will say this is a reach, but what do guns shoot? Bullets, and what was the Wizards name before they rebranded to the Wizards? The Bullets, case closed.
(The line is:
"My head's a gun" and it's from the pre-chorus of 'Surgery', also this is not going to be the last time you see this line in this post.)
The last word that is referencing a NBA franchise appears in the 12th track "Sucker" (deluxe edition bonus) and it's "sun" which references the Suns obviously.
(The line is:
"Over the sun" in the 2nd verse of 'Sucker'.)
The players:
In the chorus of the 1st track (and most popular, you prolly heard this song if you played fifa 17) "Are We Ready? (Wreck)", there is a line saying: "You get paid, and don't need any respect" which imo captures Dillon Brooks as he gets paid a lot, and doesn't think he need respect with his behavior sometimes.
In the chorus of the 2nd track "Bad Decisions", there is a line saying: "Gonna work, it's worth it, found the perfect crime", which capture Terry Rozier at the moment, although you might say that Terry's crime wasn't so "perfect", to you I will counter by saying that, uhhhhhhhhhh
In the 2nd verse of the 4th track "Gameshow", there is a line saying: "I'm old pinocchio, broken nose, let me go" which I used on CJ McCollum😭
In the chorus of the 6th track "Fever", there is a line saying: "vibrations gets your bones" which I used on Khris Middleton, sadly it got his Knees.
On track 9 "Surgery" there are 2 lines that I used:
"My head is a gun" (pre-chorus) which I used on Grayson Allen, and if you are wondering why is Grayson Allen's head a gun, it's because he's a shooter, duh.
"Major sympathy and Surgery" I used on Tyrese Haliburton, becsuse you know he kinda tore his achilies.
And lastly, in the 1st verse of track 10 "Je Viens De La", there is a line saying "What a gift for the chosen one" which I used on Andrew Wiggins, because he got a lot of pressure ("gifts") from the Maple Jordan hype and stuff.
The trade:
It's absolutely horrible, I tried my best and it's NOT good, I think everybody passes here.
Hope you enjoyed this and tell me your favorite album in the comments!
