This trade would work if not for Kuminga salary increase so just imagine that it takes place after that

Nets are just here for some salary dump and nothing else they do give up a first but they have so many young guys and pick already it probably won't be a problem

The warriors move on from Kuminga who clearly isn't happy in Golden State or likely wanted by the franchise they also lose Buddy hield to shed additional salary they gain a first and a player with better fit in place of Kuminga with kuzma

The bucks trade their superstar for 3 frp a lot of draft capital decent young guy in Kuminga and in this situation I'd say they'd rather have a younger team with more upside anyway of course this might not be enough for Giannis but the Knicks couldn't give much more and I couldn't come up with any other team with the salary resources and picks to make a trade like this work

The Knicks get Giannis and it does gut their bench to an extent but they still have some high quality guys as well as they have the big 4 of Brunson Bridges Giannis and Kat if the Knicks can't win the east with this team then they have some serious problems

But ultimately it's hard to make a trade with a superstar like Giannis just because of his value and the limitations of the 2nd apron and picks but let me know what you think and how much more every team would need to give up and what changes
