This is the Lakers making multiple deals, not a 4 team!!

Reasons Laker do this: The Lakers have been struggling this season due to a lack of shooting, wing depth, and defense. These struggles have prompted the Lakers to be 16-21 even though both Anthony Davis & LeBron James are playing at ALL NBA levels. This trade addresses major needs in defense, versatility, depth, and most importantly spacing. The Lakers trade Russell Westbrook, 2027 FRP unprotected, 2027 SRP, & 2023 SRP to the Pistons in exchange for Bojan Bogdanovic, Alec Burks, & Nerlens Noel. This first trade gives Los Angles 2 strong and lengthy shooters and also a decent rim-protecting center in Nerlens Noel which will help Anthony Davis Play the 4 in games and keep Anthony Davis Healthy. Russell Westbrook isn't a great fit with LA and his contract is way too much money to not trade for role players. The Knicks trade, the Lakers trade Nunn & Orlando's 2028 SRP for Cam Reddish. Reddish is a player who defends at a good level and has a decent 3pt shot. Mix this with his impressive 6'8 frame and athleticism Reddish can find himself being an impactful role player with defense and off-ball play. The Lakers get away from Kendrick Nunn who has been abysmal this year. Finally, The Lakers trade Patrick Beverly, Damian Jones, Chicago 2023 SRP & Lakers 2025 SRP for Kelly Oubre Jr. The Lakers get Oubre just an all-around good player he's not particularly great at anything but he's good at a lot of things his ability to defend and play hard is a major upgrade over Beverly who's struggled this year and Damion Jones who is a below average big.

Gains from Trade: Shooting, Length, Perimeter Defense, Interior Defense, Rebounding, Versatility

Losses from Trade: Speed, Playmaking, Passing

Pistons reason: The Pistons do this to get value for multiple veteran contracts that can be near expiration (Burks, Noel) while getting an expiring 47 million in return from Westbrook. Westbrook is the perfect veteran to help someone like Ivey with their similar play styles and provides a strong locker room presence with his leadership. In addition, Pistons snag an unprotected first-round pick for 2027 in a year the Lakers aren't sure what their future will hold in addition a 2023 second in a loaded draft class, and a 2027 second-round pick. The draft capital earned mixed with the available cap space gained makes this trade impactful for the Pistons. notable 2023 free agents (Cameron Johnson, Kristaps Porzingas, Myles Turner, Gary Trent Jr, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart , Dillion Brook, Kyrie Irving)

Knicks reason: The Knicks do this to get Cam Reddish off their roster Cam Reddish's time is more than over in New York. Reddish has no role there, and the Knicks plan to trade him. The Knicks are searching for a second-round pick, and what better than receiving one from the Lakers and getting an expiring contract.

Hornets: The hornets do this because they need to get assets for Oubre and his expiring contract the hornets would be foolish not to trade Oubre at his all-time high value. Oubre doesn't fit in with their rebuilding timeline, and what better way to rebuild but to gain 2 expiring contracts, and 1 second-round pick in a loaded draft class in which they plan to get Victor Wembanyama and a future second-round pick in 2025. Patrick Beverly is also a great locker room guy and can help inflict some leadership in a troubled locker room.

I don't believe this trade will happen due to how stingy the front office is but this trade I believe would dramatically change the Lakers' seasons around.
