This will be my new favorite for the upcoming Kuminga S/T. It lands Kuminga in a preferred destination where he can start at PF not just as an afterthought if Steph, Draymond and Jimmy Butler need to rest. He's on a team that is still relatively young. The only thing that is holding this trade back is the Warriors wanting the 2027 FRP from the Kings to be unprotected. Eventually if the Kings want Kuminga bad enough they will realize that this is just the price for Kuminga besides a young promising player and a veteran.
The Kings are already in driver's seet to get Westbrook, and they are willing to trade one of Monk or Devin Carter to do it. Well I have them trading both to not only be able to sign Westbrook and start him in place of the departed Fox but also get Kuminga. They can kill two birds with one stone, why not? I dont really like Derozan playing backup 2 while getting paid 24 mil but I've seen worse. The Wizards often used Marcus Smart last season as a backup PG and he was paid 21 mil last year. The Jazz will probably be playing Nurkic as a 3rd string C this coming season and he's paid 19.1 mil. So it's not like this hasn't been done on other NBA teams.
The Warriors do like Achiuwa and would probably use him as their backup C moving Post to 3rd string C, and trading for RW3 just makes sense because the Blazers don't need him since they drafted Hansen Yang and have bought out Ayton (who is now with the Lakers) Starting an oft-injured RW3 is troublesome but Warriors can always default back to Draymond at C, if there are times RW3 has to rest or is injured.
