This is contingent on Lauri wanting to resign with HOU because 3 firsts and young players for an expiring is tough to justify, no matter how good the player is.

Rockets now have VanVleet, Amen, Lauri, Jabari, Sengun, with Sheppard, Tate, Eason, Jeff Green, and Steven Adams off the bench.

This is probably not the ideal return that the Jazz want, but it might be the best they can find if they are for certain trading Lauri and can't extend him. Jazz can try to build up Brooks' value and trade him in the future, as well as extend Jalen Green and have him, Keyonte, Cody Williams, and Taylor Hendricks going forward.

Just an option, and I'm sure HOU would love to keep Cam Whitmore, but if it meant getting Lauri for the long-term I think they'd pull the trigger.
