Sixers have stated they are willing to send out first round picks for a player they’d have to extend next year that could take them into the 2nd apron.

Theres a handful of guys that could make sense but Aldama stands out. He adds much needed size, shooting and passing to the sixers starting lineup. I think he could fill a role similar to Nico Batum’s glove like fit on the Sixers last year. Jay Huff is also a great addition. His shooting ability would allow him to share the court with Embiid at times. He’s also a competent stand in with Drummond as his backup when Embiid needs to rest. His contract is long and cheap, he’s perfect.

From the Grizzlies perspective they could lose Aldama in free agency for nothing depending on his offer. Huff was a great find for them but they may as well get value out of him if they can. Edey is an Iron man when it comes to bigs, he’ll probably play like 40 mins a night. I also think Oubre will fit in well with their fast paced/physical play style.
