This trade only works in a scenario in which the Raptors are really going for it, and the Mavericks decide to fully rebuild with Cooper Flagg.

The Raptors would have a lineup of:

PG: Dennis Schroder / Jamal Shead

SG: RJ Barrett / Keon Ellis

SF: Brandon Ingram / Ja'Kobe Walter

PF: Scottie Barnes / Collin Murray-Boyles

C: Anthony Davis / Sandro Mamukelashvili

The players themselves in this lineup are very versatile and can cover multiple positions, but the depth takes a hit on the trade, even if I'd say they arguably keep the more interesting depth pieces, and a lot of roster spots open up for some potential interesting minimum players, they also get a pick back (very late 1st rounder potential) so they can potentially still do some around the edges moves.

Kings get some young solid players on small contracts + 2 second round picks for Schroder and Keon.

The Mavs get Quickley, who I'd say is more interesting than RJ Barrett for example, + 3 1st round picks for AD and taking on the Poetl contract (in my logic it's kinda like 2 unprotecteds for AD and the Top 8 protected for Poetl contract), they do give up essentially an OKC first for the pick package, but it's assumed those Raptors picks are more valuable anyway.

This is my 3rd attempt at an AD trade to the Raptors lmao, but it's hard to have everyone satisfied in such a deal, maybe AD ends up going for way less than what I'm imagining, but the Raptors would definitely become a team to watch out for in the East with this trade.
