Spurs trade Vassell and 14 (and salary filler/young guard fliers) for cam Johnson and Rui. I like Vassell still, but with Harper coming in, I think the Spurs need to rework the rotation to address the forward depth.
Lakers trade Reaves Rui and Kleber for Claxton and Carter to address the lack of size that affected them against the Wolves. Both could play on the same floor as Luka and Lebron with Claxton inside and Carter stretching the floor.
Nets trade Claxton and Johnson for Vassell and 14 and 25 to help fit their timeline better. They’re also buying into Vassell’s potential as a shot creator. They also get KCP and Anthony but that’s really just a contract filler for them to attain more assets from the magic. 14 and 25 gives them another shot in a loaded class or more ammunition to move up.
Magic trade Carter KCP Anthony and 25 for Reaves Kleber and take a flier on Branham. Reaves is a great fit on this team next to Suggs Wagner and Paolo. They add another couple shooters in Kleber and Branham. They also get off the KCP deal and send Anthony too to get under the first apron.
Let me know what you think. Who says no? What should be changed?
