Dallas Reasoning: The Mavericks honestly would get the most value out of keeping AD, but I don't think that's what new management is looking to do. His market value would be much higher if he could prove to be healthy even in the slightest. So getting 2 1sts and saving money is truly the best the Mavs can currently ask for. A Team can outbid this if they believe AD can be healthy but based on discussions being had this may be the safest value return for AD.
Bucks Reasoning: Milwaukee is desperate to make a splash. A Giannis and AD frontcourt would be the best pairing in the NBA, and they'd just need to find as much shooting as possible to surround them. I'd even consider finishing this year's tank, Let Giannis and AD fully recover and heal and hit the ground running next season. They'd have 2 seasons to figure out the rest of the roster but this is the best available player Milwaukee could buy low on. This is their all or nothing play at keeping Giannis
Detroit Reasoning: The pistons grab two championship experienced vets that can shoot the ball. Detroit does not want to move on from any of their younger players but in a wide open East they should still make a play to see how far they can get. Klay and Portis characteristically fit the Pistons locker room and add spacing that Cade needs to keep this team afloat come playoff time. They could also be recycled as trade pieces thanks to their flexible contracts. This would make for a very deep Detroit team that is already number 1 in the East.
Celtics Reasoning: The celtics have managed a top 3 team in the East despite missing Tatum who is according to reports ahead of schedule. Trading for Turner fills in a gaping hole in the frontcourt as a shooter and rim protector. His contract is affordable and theyve been successful with similar bigs in Porzingis and Horford in the past so locking up Turner in a similar mold makes a lot of sense
