I think this is very common now, if you hv enough shot creation, get shooting beside your core. So hving Booker and KD and CP3 handling the ball, creating shots, playing iso, and Ayton in the paint scoring, adding Doug to play completely offball seems reasonable

FYI Doug is shooting > 38% from 3 for 6 consecutive seasons alrdy

Spurs:

I don't rlly see a use for Doug in this team, here with this trade they can get 2 younger players

Shamet is basically a shooter, worse than Doug, but better defender

But Ish Wainright, what we know now is just he's a 3&D, but he don't get too much chance in PHX, but for the Spurs, I think he can be a very solid role player to get 20+ mins, if he can have himself an effective season, I do think the value getting back from him will be better then what Doug can get them

It's like an investment for them, trading Doug for hoping they can up Ish Wainright's value

Expect Ish to be like 8th man for this team
