In this trade, the Spurs would not be giving up any negative assets. Personally, I would prefer to keep Castle, and in fact, the likelihood of completing the deal without including Castle is not high. However, even if Castle is retained, the Spurs could still offer the high-potential lottery pick Bryant, the renewable or releasable Sochan, the rising Vassell, and the peak-performing Fox. Additionally, this would include 4-5 first-round picks and several second-round picks.

If Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks reach an agreement on his departure, this trade would be the optimal outcome for both parties. The Spurs could directly enter championship contention discussions by retaining their core of Wembanyama + Castle + Harper unchanged while adding Giannis, with the Wembanyama-Giannis defensive duo becoming one of the most formidable in history.

On the Bucks' side, they could fully transition into a rebuild, acquiring excellent complementary and functional players. They would only need to patiently await the addition of a young core. Vassell and Fox could both be involved in subsequent secondary trades.
