This trade sends OG Anunoby to the Knicks

The Raptors do this to shore up on draft capital that they stupidly wasted on Thaddeus Young and Jakob Poeltl and they receive Quentin Grimes who is a young asset that they could use in their rebuild, which would most likely happen after this trade. OG doesn't seem that happy in Toronto so it's best they trade him while his value is at an all time high, as Toronto will now have to settle after declining a 3 first round pick deal for him at the deadline. The Knicks do this to obtain a great defensive player who is also a good offensive player. OG has a lot of defensive versatility which is something the Knicks could use. Getting OG would make them a very good team on defense, making them even better than their good defense they had last year. Getting OG would make their starting lineup way better on paper while they get off of Evan Fournier contract. Trading OG would also clear the Raptors logjam at the forward position, making way for Scottie Barnes to man the small forward without spacing issues (They were starting OG at Shooting Guard post trade deadline despite him not being a good shooter
