With the departure of DeAndre Hunter and the bolstering of backcourt depth with Keon Ellis and Dennis Schroder, the Cavs would clearly do well to offload Lonzo Ball. In this trade, Utah turns Niang's expiring into a 2rp and likely waives Lonzo. If I were the Jazz, I wouldn't mind keeping him around; however, as his skillset, in theory, would be a fun addition to the bench unit.
