The Heat are recieving the 2025 Pick from Orlando in order to not break the Stepien Rule (Can't miss consecutive first round picks)

Heat

Getting Damian Lillard on the heat sovles both the Heat and the Blazer's problems. I know that the Nets potentially have the better package but:

1.) The Nets might want to get younger stars to pair with Mikal/Claxton for the future as opposed to emptying the bank for a superteam again.

2.) If Dame asks out portland will absolutely give him some influence on where he goes, he listed Miami as his obvious #1 choice.

Blazers

Blazers got Scoot Henderson, they have their future franchise player secured. It's time for them to fully commit to building a championship team, in the way they should have with Dame before him. Portland gets out from under Dame's humongous contract, and gets 4 first round picks as well as 2 2nd rounders, some size on the wing, and a fat 30M expiring contract. This gives them all of the room they need to make a big move when Scoot is ready to contend.

Bench: Lowry/Rupert/Knox/Murray/Eubanks

Magic

The Magic have a ridiculous amount of future potential in both their roster and their draft capital. I believe they have turned the corner on the blow-up and can begin to try for the play-in tournament and make moves accordingly to grow this team into contenders. Thankfully the Blazers don't need Herro as Simons is almost the exact same player, so they get to be the middleman here and come away with a great young shooter with deep playoff experience at 23.
