Pelicans:
Pels presses the panic button. Fears and Missi are looking good; it's time to give them the team.
They give up their 2 best players and are getting a promising new lineup: Fears, Ivey, Rissacher, Holland, and Missi
They get their 2026 picks back (otherwise, there was no deal to be made)
and an extra 3 FRP (in total 4 FRP and an early SRP)
Hawks:
Trey Murphy is a star entering his prime: last year, he had 21, 5, and 3.5. He's a triple threat: career splits are 3pt/2pt/FT - 38%/57%/88%. A great defender and good passer - he can do it all, and he is still improving.
They also get Alvarado a good, much-needed rotation PG (especially after Trea's injury).
Risacher is a great talent. Ironically, if everything goes well, his ceiling is somewhere around Trey Murphy. Basically, they are trading him for his timeline-fitting, realistic-ceiling version of himself.
Pistons:
While Zion is a roller coaster, he has a rigorous contract: if he doesn't meet the weigh-in and games thresholds, he gets only a piece of the salary and could even be waived (which mitigates the risk).
On the other hand, His upside, of course, is huge and he could even match Cade.
While Harris is solid and reliable, he is 33.
Bulls:
For a heavily protected FRP, the Bulls get a big upgrade in the PF position and get rid of Willian's bad contract for an expiring one. And they could negotiate an extension if they want to.
Part 2 should be at the end of 2025, when Murray comes back and Herb and others could be traded
