I had a very hard time trading Bub because his value is so weird but this I think is a win win trade the rockets get more guard minutes and a younger player on a small long term contract also they wouldn’t be able to resign Eason considering he’ll likely want a decent amount of money this offseason and for Washington they do this because they have so much free cap next year that they can potentially resign Eason and Bub will be a limited bench role for the foreseeable future due to Trae young now being on the team
