Lakers got De'Andre Hunter (Trade) Herbert Jones (Trade) Nick Smith Jr. (Sign to standard Contract)
Then they could get Ricky Council IV, or add a new center like Moses Brown or maybe Christian Koloko. The Lakers would have a great chance to contend for the championship this year with this solid lineup, and they would still have Rui Hachimura for scoring off the bench.
Next season will be tough because of Herbert Jones’ contract, but if LeBron doesn’t come back, the Lakers would still have great forwards to fill that role. If LeBron signs another contract, the Lakers would have a strong asset to make upgrades for next year.
Pelicans got Dalton Knecht (Trade) Jarred Vando (Trade)
I still believe Dalton Knecht is a GREAT player, and going to the Pelicans and getting consistent minutes could spark his potential and showcase his talent. Vanderbilt would be a nice fit alongside Trey Murphy and Deric Queen, as he can defend and shrink the floor.
Cavaliers got Maxi Kleber (Trade) Gabe Vincent (Trade) 2031 1st round draft pick
I think they will trade Garland this season because of his contract. The Lakers could possibly convince the Cavaliers to trade for De'Andre Hunter and receive Maxi and Gabe (both on the last year of their contracts).
Maxi is a serviceable big who can stretch the floor, while Gabe could be their starting point guard if they move Garland. We all know what Gabe did in Miami he’s a competitor who can help fill the Cavaliers' need at point guard for now, and he’s a great leader as well.
