As a Rockets fan, let me just start by saying I love Fred. I am so appreciative of the culture he helped build here in Houston. A lot of people think he was overpaid. I don’t. We paid for the vibes. And I would do it again 100 times out of 100.

But it’s winning time. KD is not getting any younger and this group is ready to win-now. Also Tari will most likely need to get paid this offseason. A trade will probably be necessary to stay under the 2nd apron.

That being said… I don’t want to trade any valuable assets. This may be idealistic, but if one of these teams is willing to trade their guy for Fred and maybe a couple 2nd’s max (depending on which guy), that’s the deal! There may be salary hoops to jump through (especially with Boston), but these are top 4 guys I would target!
