Raptors: It's possible they are losing Saikam anyway, so why not get some draft picks and hit the rebuild button. They get draft piclks, a young forward to replace OG, and a seasoned veteran on a short contract.

Pistons: They need some talent to put next to Cunningham, Capela isn't an all-star, but he's a solid defensive-minded veteran who can help their interior defense and add some toughness.

Atlanta: They need something else. This trade gives them an upgrade without selling too early on Murray. They finally get that reliable post presence to match with their back court. If it costs them some picks and some role players, then so be it.
