A better version of my last trade that better accounts for the Warriors' losses

SUCCESS

Okay okay, I now realize that it would be pretty idiotic for a team already lacking in spacing when Curry's not playing to dump their only other consistent shooters and not get any form of that shooting back, at least in the guard position. This time around however, they get that value back and then some in my new proposed 3 team trade idea.

For the Warriors

The principle is pretty much the same, they get the best possible center that fits their system to a T. But since they have to offload multiple contract to make the deal work, it's only fair they get a lot more value than just the possible upside of an injury riddled Tingis Pingis. They now also receive Corey Kispert from D.C. who is just a perfect plug n' play shooter for this lineup. Taller and bigger than Buddy and Moody, he can be a much better defender as well while also providing the same shooting spark that Warriors would be lacking with them gone. And as for losing an integral piece like Podz, they move up to pick 28 and 32 in a highly touted draft class where any frp and any 2nd round pick in the 30s range is set to be a hotshot, these are the same guys that made NBA level rotation players out of the 50th picks in the draft. If they needed instant rejuvenation after losing crucial pieces, they've got it. Overall I think this is a great trade for the Warriors as they finally fill that center void and still maintain a great shooter in the lineup not named Curry who is capable of doing more than Buddy and Moody, plus getting 2 crucial picks in this year's draft is an amazing return for them as well.

For the Celtics

My view on their situation is still the same, get younger and let that youth develop during this off year without Tatum. The championship hope for next year at least is lost and by the Time Tatum comes back this will be a heavily declining starting five with Holiday turning 36 and Horford probably being retired by then. White at 32 will probably still be serviceable by then though perhaps not at the same level as he currently is so maybe they consider moving off him as well, but Porzingis tingis, who knows what the hell will have happened to his body by the time JT comes back, it's just not worth the risk. But of course no other team wants to take the risk either unless the price is worth it, especially when you consider his 30m expiring contract as well, it's just not realistic to think him tradeable by himself. It's probably gonna cost Boston a lot more than they would like but I mean they are still looking to be a contender when JT comes back, by that time it would be better to have a young high level role player whose already been in the league a while and who could possibly develop in the same way DWhite did with the team rather than a sophomore guy. And the future picks in 2031 are still a while away so it's not nearly as valuable to them but it is pretty valuable for other rebuilding teams which is where Washington comes in.

For the Wizards

They're pretty much just the beneficiaries of this trade, taking Moses Moody and Boston's really valuable 2031 pick which will bear them great labor by that time and all they have to do is give out a less favorable pick in 2026 and Corey Kispert who Moody could easily take the role of if they need someone in his role that badly (although they were already sort of shopping him so letting him go in return for a frp and Moody is honestly kind of a steal for them). It's an A+ trade for them, no brainer.

So pretty much a win-win-win trade all in my eyes as each team get exactly what they need with much less risk factor on either side of losing out on something great as on the contrary they all seem to gain something great. Good trade for Boston, amazing trade for the Warriors (if Tingis Pingis can stay healthy that is, if not then it's still a good trade), and a sneakily great move for the Wizards.
