Warriors
PG: Brandin Podziemski, De'Anthony Melton
SG: Buddy Hield, Gary Payton II
SF: Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson
PF: Jonathan Kuminga, Trayce Jackson-Davis
C: Isaiah Hartenstein, Brandon Clarke
Why They Do It: With Markkanen off the market it seems the Warriors are running out of options. Curry has said himself he doesn't want to play on a bad team in his twilight years. This is the best move for both parties. Curry gets to contend for one last title. The Dubs get out of the NBA's dreaded middle class and get a plethora of picks and young talent for their rebuild.
Thunder:
PG: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace
SG: Stephen Curry, Alex Caruso
SF: Jalen Williams, Aaron Wiggins
PF: Chet Holmgren, Aaron Nesmith
C: Jonas Valanciunas, Jaylin Williams
Playoff Rotation: SGA, Curry, JDub, Chet, Jonas, Caruso, Nesmith, Wiggins, Wallace
Why They Do It: The Thunder have more picks than they could ever possibly need. Now is as good of a time as ever for them to go all in while they still have great healthy young players (SGA, JDub, Chet) and great role players (Caruso, Wiggins, Wallace). This team would easily be the favorite to with the title.
Grizzlies
PG: Ja Morant, Scotty Pippen Jr.
SG: Marcus Smart, Vince Williams Jr.
SF: Desmond Bane, Luke Kennard
PF: Draymond Green, GG Jackson
C: Jaren Jackson Jr, Santi Aldama
Playoff Rotation: Morant, JJJ, Bane, Draymond, Smart, GG, Vince, Kennard, Aldama
Why They Do This: The Grizzlies were one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA last year, mostly due to the fact that JJJ, who isn't a great rebounder, was their center. Now they get Draymond, the perfect complement for JJJ, who can get boards and space the floor. Draymond would also give the Grizz arguably the best defense in the league alongside JJJ and Smart.
Pacers:
PG: Tyrese Haliburton, T.J. McConnell
SG: Andrew Nembhard, Bennedict Mathurin
SF: Luguentz Dort, Bennedict Mathurin
PF: Pascal Siakam, Obi Toppin
C: Myles Turner, Isaiah Jackson
Playoff Rotation: Haliburton, Siakam, Turner, Nembhard, Dort, Mathurin, Toppin, McConnell, Kispert
Why They Do It: The Pacers had the worst defense in the NBA last year among teams that make the playoffs. A guy like Dort is perfect for them. While I understand the concern around trading lottery pick Jarace Walker, the Pacers are fresh off a Conference Finals appearance and are in a position to win now, and their defense is a pressing concern. Plus, with guys like Siakam, Turner, Jackson, and Toppin on the team, it would be tough to find minutes for Walker.
Wizards:
PG: Malcolm Brogdon, Jared Butler
SG: Jordan Poole, Isaiah Joe
SF: Kyle Kuzma, Bilal Coulibaly
PF: Saddiq Bey, Tristan Vukevic
C: Marvin Bagley III, Richaun Holmes
Why They Do It: Ass Teams and Young Players/Picks are a Duo as old as time itself.
