This trade makes all sense for all sides except SAC, unless they really like Rob Dillingham. Ellis doesn’t play and he’s due for extension, so maybe this trade and a pick swap from MN could do it. Either way, I love it for Detroit and MN. They part ways with pieces they both like, but it’s necessary to make their current teams better.
