Nets explanation: The Ben Simmons era in Brooklyn has ended. He was horrible this year and has one of the worst contracts in basketball. Saving almost 20 million in this trade allows them to bring back Cam Johnson pretty easily. Olynyk could give some solid minutes off the bench as well.

Jazz explanation: The Jazz get the notorious Ben Simmons and waste 20 million of cap room. In return they get an unprotected pick from Phoenix. Utah would be a great place for Ben to try to resurrect his career because there is low pressure and he will have lots of opportunities.
