There is no doubt that the Pistons are the big dogs in the East. Led by superstar, former number 1 overall pick, Cade Cunningham. Why not take a chance on another former number 1 overall pick, Zion Williamson. In this trade, the Pistons only pay $4 million extra for a potential superstar and if Zion can stay healthy, Pistons will win 60+ games and make the NBA Finals. This is the sunshine and rainbows of this scenario. Zion could have a season ending injury the first time he steps onto his new home court but if you dont take risks, pull never go anywhere. On the other side, this is a no brainer for New Orleans. The pelicans should be top 3 in the draft if the lottery goes how it should. Tobias on the court is no different from when Zion is off. Holland is a young piece who could possibly carve out a bigger role on a weaker team and getting an extra first round pick never hurts. Oh yeah, the Pelicans also free up close to $13 million.
