Pelicans make a win-now move to capitalize on Zion in a move for Beal, whose coming off a hot 30 ppg season. They give up 3 1sts and Jrue for it but: one first is #13 in a weak class, other is Lakers so the only risky first is their own next year, but it is protected in case the season goes badly.

Warriors get an elite guard in Jrue, who could start alongside Curry and Klay. While he's not an elite shooter, it's an amazing fit in the switch-heavy defense warriors run, and he's a good enough playmaker for the offball plays warriors love to run. People might say Wiggins + #2 is an overpay but I honestly do not think Wiggins on that contract is an asset for the warriors, because his mid-range heavy game, and his erratic defense is an antithesis to the warriors scheme, a team who don't have the time to wait for him to develop. Thomas Bryant has shown to be an athletic and mobile big, similar to what Javale would bring, but he could be omitted from the deal too (also done to make room for Wiseman on the Wiz)

Wizards however would be heading into a rebuild and do have the time to attempt to nurture Wiggins, whose still only 25. They get #2 to start off the rebuild, with one of Lamelo, Edwards or Wiseman and they get a multitude of picks to go with it. Overall, I think it's a solid haul for Beal.
