Shams reported that Kevin Durant #1 preferred destination is the Suns, they have a few assets but I think they need more teams to get involved to seal a deal making the offer acceptable:
First, they turn Cam Johnson and a pick into John Collins to send him to the Nets (already reported John's time in ATL is over, while Cam would be great for the Hawks), alongside Mikal Bridges, picks and DeAndre Ayton:
Recieving DeAndre Ayton, the Nets can't keep Ben Simmons, so they trade him to the Mavs for THJR, Josh Green, Powell and a 1st round pick (Ben is at an all time low value right now). Also it's not the best situation for him to be on a team he would have to assume a bigger role, he just wanted to be a Net to compete for a title; play with Kyrie and KD.. He's too mentally damaged to embrace this "leader" role of a completely new team. Mavs enter in the deal to make things easier for them to get a better player (Ayton) + other assets given that they can't have them both. Seth Curry also included, the Mavs send a 2nd rounder ( Seth is good, but he's on a expiring contract and getting old, that move would also give sophomore Cam Thomas more touches)
Without cap space, Mavs need to get rid of another player: They send Bertans to the Suns, who could be useful at times with his shooting, but he's on a bad contract (don't make a lot of difference because they already have no cap space with KD, Booker and CP3 maxes), so they send also a 2nd rounder to compensate.
