I realized I hadn't done the Pistons, who are one of the surprise contenders this year. Their big gap is shooting and offensive creation - they are 9-2 but are 26th in 3-pt shots made.
The most common fake trade is Markkanen, which is an excellent match. I got a little more ambitious. The Suns should start over and trade Booker, and Detroit is the ideal landing place. He's not a big-time outside shooter but he is an offensive creator to complement Cade.
Cade - Booker - Thompson - Stewart - Duren; bench: Green, LeVert, Robinson, Reed
The Suns get two excellent prospects in Ivey and Holland, and an expiring contract (or asset for 3rd team) in Harris, plus 3 picks. I can imagine ways of doing this that involve Stewart or Robinson too. Go ahead and argue about the number of picks.
