Does this benefit all teams?

SUCCESS

Nuggets get two 3 and D wings in their starting lineup, exactly what they need around Jokic and Murray. They also fill a hole their roster currently has, a backup PG. There’s nobody better in that role than TJ McConnell and he would take them to a whole new level. Him and Bruce brown coming off the bench every night would be unlimited energy the team needs.

Pacers move on from TJ, knowing this is a throwaway season and they’ll need to start getting younger to fit Halis timeline better as he will probably need next season to get back into things. More than likely another throwaway season. TJ will be 35 by the time the pacers are up and ready to start playing basketball again. Being a guy that runs purely off stamina and movement, he might be done by then. Especially if he keeps getting injured. Instead they get two young stars in Braun and GG Jackson along with draft capital to prepare for the future. They spend the next 2 seasons developing GG, Braun, Mathurin, Denver’s 2026 pick, and whoever else. While Hali tries to get back into the groove of things. Once he’s healthy, these young players with high ceilings should be seasoned and ready to go. Ultimately Indiana will have to have a sale and get younger, whether it’ll be hard to accept or not.

Memphis just got a haul for Bane. In exchange for Cameron Johnson they trade KCP, one first round pick, and GG Jackson who they have basically given up on already. With Ja more than likely being traded soon,Memphis could use a first or second option scorer. Which Cam Johnson has proved he can be. Either way I don’t see KCP on the grizzlies much longer, whether he’s traded or bought out at this deadline. Why not use him and another guy you don’t even play for a solid piece like Cam who’s on a great contract?
