I think the suns hate this no trade clause mess they have with Beal but they do have a crafty move they can pull. By waiving Bradley beal over five year stretch, Beal can realistically re sign after waivers clear, for a veteran’s minimum contract for 1 year (or 3 Escalating years doesn’t matter to me). This lets him keep his money while also making more and keeping his options in his own hands. This will also bring the suns below the second apron.

In doing so the suns can trade 4 players for jimmy butler and another player. They can also incentivize with picks for 2031. I have no idea who they will play at center but adding butler increases scoring ability and ball handling to the point that the perhaps duo of butler and Beal gives the suns a player between the two of them that is able to match pace and scoring with Durant and booker.
