The Raptors desperately need a new point guard... Quickley won't be the answer

They've been heavily rumored in trades for Ball, Young & now Ja❗️

Ja Morant leaving Memphis by the trade deadline is inevitable at this point.

Tim McMahon on Twitter said "Everybody in that arena, much less locker room, knows they want to get rid of him. And the feeling is mutual. It’s reached a point where Ja Morant’s career cannot continue in Memphis.”

And NBA reporter Brett Siegel said "The Raptors are willing to package their 1st-round pick with Immanuel Quickley for a “win-now” move"

That being said Trae Young didn't go for as much as everyone thought he would 🫢 and Ja Morant has been on a steady decline since his crazy 2021-22 season

Why would the Memphis grizzlies 🐻 do this ⁉️

• They're asking for picks and get a 1st/2nd in return ✅️

• Trae Youngs trade value was super underwhelming 📉 so the picks help support taking on Quickleys contract

• Ja Morant no longer wants to be with the Grizzlies and it's very mutual from what's being reported. So he'll most likely be gone by the deadline 🙌

• I doubt any other team will give more than this for Ja Morant, Bucks have failed with Dame and he was a better fit. Wolves would need to include Naz Reid which won't happen 🚫

Why would the Toronto Raptors 🦖 do this ⁉️

• The Quickley experiment is over🫡 he hasn't been able to play past 39 games in 3 season 🤮

• Quickley doesn't have that killer instinct and has been on a decline since joining the Raptors

• Quickley isn't as good of a passer or scorer as Ja and Raptors are currently a 4th seed with Jakob, RJ, Ingram all getting injured on and off, they obviously want to win and this would be the move 🔒
