This is the "blockbuster" trade of the DuckRibbit GM saga.
We all know Ben wants out of Philly; and quickly at that. The Sixers aren't seeing any notable interest, except from the Kings. The Kings trade over Harrison Barnes and Marvin Bagley to increase scoring depth in the Sixers' lineup. Harrison is a solid 3/D Wing who can help take pressure off of Embiid. Bagley is also a young player they would flip for John Wall or other players if need be. If he stays, the 76ers would hope he stays healthy and develops into a stud.
Simply put, for the Kings, Ben Simmons is a perfect fit among Fox. Sacramento is the best spot for him to land since he will have a chance to shine as a wonderful 2nd option. Sacramento's defense would skyrocket and their tempo would be incredibly fast again. Simmons and Fox in transition is a nightmare. Also, Buddy Hield wouldn't have to worry about defense anymore. He could go back to spot up shooting, averaging 18-20 ppg again with the help of Simmons' playmaking.
