Looking for constructive criticism. Please elaborate on your reasonings, it will help me a lot. You're going to have to hear me out on this one.

Pacers - Alright so let's first talk about what inspired the idea. I was thinking back to the early success the Pacers had during the start of the season especially when they took many people by surprise making it all the way to the in season tournament finals against the Lakers. Back then, Haliburton was one of the best players in the league having impressive games where he would have high points and assists until his so called 'slump'. However, I don't think that's the case. Before the slump, the Pacers had a crazy offensive duo in Haliburton and Buddy Hield. Although you could argue Buddy is inconsistent and a shot chucker, I believe his offensive game complimented Haliburton's game incredibly well through his spot up shooting and spacing. For your information, I'm not a Pacer fan so I may be incorrect about all this but I'm judging from my own observations. Anyway, Haliburton was able to make use of Hield's 'gravity' and use that to playmake effectively which resulted in his high assists game. Currently, people are calling him washed due to his injury but I think he needs either a spot up shooter or shot creator to bring back those high assist games. A player that came to mind was Norman Powell. Now before I explain the rest, let me just say this is a hypothetical where the Pacers go all in to make it back to where they previously were in the playoffs. Personally, I think they should start building their team especially now that their latest addition Siakam is getting older and Turner trailing behind. I don't think they would of made the move to get Siakam if they didn't see themselves as ready to compete, they could of gotten younger players instead. With that said, I think it's essential to start getting into that stage of solidifying your goal, no in between meaning decrease the amount of players in your young core. Now back to Norman Powell. I'm not entirely sure if he is the missing piece of the Pacers but he does fit the necessary components that can help Haliburton return to his previous performance, that being a shot creator and a spot up shooter. I think his offensive game is comparable to Buddy Hield, possibly a slight upgrade. Similarities are the off ball and shooting whereas the differences would be the ability to create for themselves which Norman Powell would be better. As for defense, I think they're both a liability to their teams judging from what other people say hence why I said all in offense in the title. Let's not talk about that. Overall, I think the offensive benefits will make up for it, Powell isn't being utilised as much on the Clippers so I think he could get better on this team like he was during previous years. Also, he was former teammates with Pascal Siakam during their championship. I think that's pretty interesting and a reunion between the two may increase chemistry within the team. Unless there is something I don't know about them. Other than all this, the Pacers lose T.J McConnell and Ben Sheppard. In all honesty, I'm unsure of how you Pacer fans value them. You may be very fond of them but I think they're replaceable especially McConnell despite all the comments I've seen about him. This trade opens up more minutes for Andrew Nembhard who seems to be a good player that appeals to majority of the fans I see. This allows him to be the backup PG for Haliburton and he could possibly take a leap. As for Ben Sheppard, I'm unfamiliar with him but he looks to be a good scorer and defender that can create for himself. He's a bit on the older side for a rookie at 23, don't get me wrong I don't think he's bad or anything I just think another player can come in and play the same role. This trade brings you over the tax by $6.7M.

Possible Lineup:

Starting 5:

PG - Tyrese Haliburton, SG - Norman Powell, SF - Bennedict Mathurin, PF - Pascal Siakam, C - Myles Turner

Bench:

PG - Andrew Nembhard, SG - Aaron Nesmith, SF - Jarace Walker, PF - Obi Toppin, C - James Wiseman

Honestly, I still think this is a great team despite losing the two players. I do think you guys will miss T.J McConnell even if Nembhard takes a leap.

Clippers - Here we go. Alright, before you all hit me with the statement that the Clippers should rebuild with Paul George leaving for the 76ers. I would completely agree, if it wasn't for their new rebrand and new stadium. In all honesty, I don't see them rebuilding while they still have Kawhi and Harden, they're most likely going to use them for marketing and to attract fans. If anything, their goal is most likely to at least make the playoffs with the bare minimum, being either a play in team or a first round exit. With this said, they could go for another star player for the reasons above however I feel like they would really need one that would fit or compliment Kawhi and Harden. I don't see much stars on the trade block who would provide this especially with majority being under contract or untouchable. In my opinion, I would push Harden back to the shooting guard position and have him focus on scoring while keeping Kawhi at small forward. I feel like playing them out of position won't help the team. So my ideal target would be a PG and a PF. I don't think they have the assets to pursue a star either so it's best to just find role players. So I brought in Dennis Schroder and Dorian Finney-Smith who are on the Nets. A rebuilding team looking to sell their players and are looking for a bad record but I'll talk about them later. Whilst looking at their roster, originally I was planning Bojan Bogdanovic but the problem was is that he can't be aggregated with other players from the team until two months have passed, Sep 4. So I resorted towards DFS and Schroder. I also had the option of Cameron Johnson but his contract is big. Anyway, this is my personal opinion but I think Schroder would be a good Point Guard for the Clippers whether he's starting or on the bench. He's a good role player that the Clippers could use as a playmaker or scorer. He finished the season with averages of 14ppg and 6.1 assists. He's also a good defender able to get steals with his fast hands that helps his playmaking on transition offense and his screen navigation is also helpful on defense. Dorian Finney-Smith is the same, he could definitely fill in that starting PF spot as a floor spacer that can shoot at a satisfactory level and can defend well which many Nets fans saw when he was put as a center while Claxton was out. He covered both paint and perimeter through drop coverage. He's aware of the opposing offense and ready at all times. He utilises his length against his opponents. I'd call these two good fits next to Harden and Kawhi, would probably prefer Bojan as a more offensive player but I think DFS is a good alternative that makes up for his offensive skills through his defense. Only problem I see with this trade is Terance Mann being traded as management refused to trade him for Harden, Bones Hyland as well as he seems to be valuable young piece but he would most likely need to be used to make up for having no picks in the trade. Clippers left with 5.4m under tax after the trade.

Possible Lineup:

Starting 5:

PG - Dennis Schroder, SG - James Harden, SF - Kawhi Leonard, PF - Dorian Finney-Smith, C - Ivica Zubac

Bench:

PG - Kris Dunn, SG - Kevin Porter Jr, SF - Derrick Jones Jr, PF - Kobe Brown, C - Mo Bamba

Not sure how the bench unit would look but I assume something like this. I feel like they could also go out of position to include Amir Coffey but I think it's solid either way. As for the team overall I think it's good. Gives them a lot of depth and a decent starting 5. They would most likely need more moves though to get far especially to the playoffs.

Nets - Now things get difficult. I'm not going to lie, I think they would require a pick whether that be a first or a few seconds. Not sure where they would come from though, not sure if the Pacers would willing to give up a pick considering they already gave one of their young assets in Ben Sheppard who was a first round pick last year at pick 26 as well as a vet in T.J McConnell who has been a great piece for them. I think the Nets could go into the route they went with Bridges and Johnson where they just increased their value and sold them. Not sure how effective this would be and if this is safe without picks but I think Sheppard would be a nice long term piece that could be a secondary scorer to Cam Thomas. He's a good 3&D player that the Nets would want as it will compliment Cam. As for Bones, I think he can fill in their missing point guard position as a young player, he could take a leap if given an opportunity unlike his previous years where he was riding the bench on contending teams. He could definitely benefit from a rebuilding team. The problem with this is that it gives the Nets three score first players that need the ball in their hands which makes me question his fit playstyle wise. Worst case scenario he could be a good sixth man who gains starting munutes that comes in whenever Cam is out. He's got good handles so he can create for himself but he has alright playmaking, not the best but improvements can be made to make it good. For the other players such as T.J and McConnell, I truly believe they could raise their trade value as T.J McConnell is already considered an underrated player, some attention could lead to some good offers. As for Mann, I think a new change of scenery will give him the Bridges treatment where giving him a year or two will help teams identify his worth and as an individual prove his skills on a team that allows him to showcase it. I think his peak is a decent role player on a average team but a backup on a contender. For McConnell I think he can be a starter. This is just a hypothesis, most likely won't be true if this trade were to happen but we'll never really know if Terance Mann for example is a bad player unless he moves to a team that gives him an opportunity. Nets 1.6m under tax.

Possible Lineup:

Starting 5:

PG - Ben Simmons, SG - Cam Thomas, SF - Ziaire Williams, PF - Bojan Bogdanovic, C - Nicolas Claxton

Bench:

PG - Bones Hyland, SG - Ben Sheppard, SF - Dariq Whitehead, PF - Noah Clowney, C - Day'Ron Sharpe

Y'all going to cook me up for this lineup. Tried my best with what I got, I don't think it's good either. I put Bojan at PF as he played it for a bit during his time with the Pistons last season. As for the players I think I should add Cooper Flagg as this lineup is horrible, they would def get a high pick in the next draft.

Well that's it, this trade may not appeal to you guys but I needed something to post cause I couldn't think of trades. Please remember give your honest feedback and explain why a team wouldn't do this, I want to know your perspective on this.
