The grizzlies are clearly not going anywhere with their current core. They always have good depth, so it’s not a total roster issue. It’s the core just simply not being good enough. Memphis goes after a proven playoff performer to carry them in big games while Denver gets the shooting they need. No more Scottie pippen Jr for Memphis, here’s a real point guard.
