Why for Grizzlies: Trade 3 SRPs and VWJ (or GG Jackson) in order to trade up in the draft from 16 to 14 to ensure getting Cedric Coward.

Why for Heat: A retool yes, but they get a stud guard in Castle to play alongside Herro in the backcourt. Same defensive mentality as Ware in the front court. The 2027 unprotected ATL 1st round pick could be valuable. Plus by getting an expiring in Barnes they clear up even more cap space for the offseason of 2026 (Barnes, Rozier, Robinson all expiring).

Why for Spurs: An “all in” move without going all in. They still have the Vassell and KJ contracts and a bunch of draft picks. A starting lineup of Fox/Harper/Vassell/Wemby/Bam is pretty great defensively.

As a Grizz fan it would be tough to deal with for a long time, but I think it could happen with or without us. So might as well get involved to get someobe we want.
