Why for Jazz:

Sell high on Kessler (I wouldn’t trade him if I were them, but he is in a bunch of rumors) &!get some more picks. Including a valuable protected pick swap in 2031.

Also try some new things with Santi alongside or (not? ) Lauri. Two bigs who can somewhat stretch the floor.

Why for Warriors:

Move off even more salary (every little bit counts with the luxury tax).

With Thompson gone they retool a little bit longterm. Trayce, Moody, Kuminga, Podz, Kessler all under 25 years old and maybe 2/5 work out?

I am not a fan of him personally-but Green is an amazing defender (top 15 all time in my opinion) and Kessler can learn from him possibly.

Why for Grizz:

Ziare is a sunk cost at this point. If we can move him lets do it. And Santi has done well, but we really need a vet big. Same way w/Looney teaching Edey. Warriors/Grizz have had a rivalry going back to 2015 (everyone thinks it started in 2021), but Looney is very well respected and exactly what we need.

Okoro or someone like him to fill the starting SF position (Smart as super sixth man/backup PG). Reasonable contract. As is a Kennard resigning.
