I debated on adding a rotation player to the deal and letting Memphis keep one of their 2RPs. I also thought about the Gary Harris contract that was coming to an end. I’m sure the Magic would’ve compensated the Grizzlies for taking that contract on.

Also resigned Lamar Stevens. He has earned that contract this season and filled in as a more consistent David Roddy (who was moved to PHX at the deadline) and appears to be a Grant Williams lite if you will (similar skill set but could be had on a better deal).
