Mocks have a huge part in the site, but rn it just seems like they are becoming partly useless, because even when they are top of trending, you only get around 20 people max signing up, i think somewhat because

1) the community of users on the site who actually participate in things and talk to each other regularly is fairly small, and many people just post trades and comment on other people’s.

2) too many mocks are created at a time, causing some people to sign up to different ones, and not care about joining another because they can’t focus too well on the other one

I think this can be solved, and the solutions are simple

1) encourage either active users who don’t participate in many mocks to do, or encourage more people to join fanspo

2) have one central mock going at a time, helping to not confuse those unfamiliar to mocks, and to make sure people join that one

I still think people want to be in charge of mocks, so would probably create their own, but if we had one at a time, a big part of the problem would be solved
