Here we swap Duncan for Turner’s expiring. Duncan is great and would not want to see him leave, his fit with Adebayo is great. However, I would say adding Turner, a defensive stretch big, could be more valuable for the playoffs.

Bam would benefit the most from this move, and if there is a player we need it to step it up is him. He would be moved to the 4, the position he wants to play. He would not have to be so focused on doing everything on defense, which may help his offense. In defense, instead of being our main rim protector he could guard the opposing team best player, taking some pressure off from Jimmy.

Turner is an expiring and tbh I wouldn’t mind if he leaves as a FA, since idk if Miami would pay him what he wants, having Ware already on the team. But having him this season could help Ware learn from a type of player that play the role Miami will want him to play.

Am I crazy for believing a lineup of Tyler, Highsmith, Butler, Adebayo and Turner can compete against the top teams in the east? At least on paper.
