It’s either ECF or someone going to be DTD on this roster for 82 days straight. I know Wiggins would have to opt in for this to work and he probably won’t without Giannis signing here. But in a world where he does. This is how I’d flip the roster. Elite transition offense — Zion, Murray, and Bam would be a nightmare in the open floor.

• Constant rim pressure — Zion and Bam force defenses to collapse.

• Strong defense — Murray, Bam, and Ware give you steals, switching, and rim protection.

• Powell fits perfectly — knockdown shooter who thrives off the attention Zion gets.

• High ceiling — if healthy, it’s an ECF-caliber starting five.

Downside: Health and spacing are still question marks. As for why the pelicans would do this, NO CLUE😭 However, gutting the roster for Giannis and then not being able to afford a supporting cast is concerning. If we miss out on this star (like we normally do) there gotta be big changes we can make for a decent season.
