The Heat can finally pair Bam up with a backcourt star that's on his same timeline and can be completely responsible for the halfcourt offense. He also brings some explosiveness and on ball creation that Miami desperately needs. Bam is perfect next to Mitchell, because the heat can hide him in their zone on defense.

With this trade they can avoid Mitchell signing somewhere else for nothing if their gamble to trade for him don't pan out this coming offseason.

Not only do they essentially get all their money back in picks, but Herro and Jacquez neatly fill their "score first" 2 and versatile 3 needs. Herro and Jacquez are both around 23 years old next to Garland Mobley and Allen who are all around that age as well. That starting 5 could be dangerous as they enter their primes in a few years.
