This works for both teams.
Indy: Getting off of the Siakam deal gives them flexibility to reset the time line to match up with their long term plans. Getting Jovic to replace some of that Myles Turner production is very valuable. His shooting would be a valuable addition. Wiggins is a stop gap. The biggest prize would be the cap flexibility the Rozier contract adds. Which would give them the ability to trade for a impact player. Maybe AD?
Miami: They're in win now mode. They need two way players. Siakam is good for 20 a game, and does require a lot of touches. This still gives Miami the flexibility to trade Herro, Ware, and a pick for Giannis.
