MIA

Miami acquires Nemanja Bjelica from the Sacramento Kings for Maurice Harkless, Chris Silva, and a second-round pick. The Heat do this to acquire an additional stretch four outside of Kelly Olynyk to address the PF rotation next to Bam Adebayo. A PF rotation of Bjelica, Olynyk, and Achiuwa is a very versatile and flexible one. Bjelica can even start on some nights for Miami. Bjelica has the correct skills to play next to Bam Adebayo, and the two bigs should work very well with one another. Bjelica's shooting would work very well on the Heat as the PF between Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Miami is rumored to be extremely interested in Bjelica, and I believe this is how they can attain him while giving the Kings fair compensation:

Dragic - Herro - Butler - Bjelica/Olynyk - Adebayo

SAC

Sacramento gets a quality return and addresses key team needs for Nemanja Bjelica. First and foremost, they address the SF position, in lineups where one of Jabari Parker or Harrison Barnes plays PF next to Bagley or Holmes at C in Harkless. Even if he is struggling at the moment, Harkless provides quality wing defense to the Kings, which should work well next to guards in Fox, Haliburton, and Hield as well as bigs like Bagley, Holmes, Barnes (plays PF at times), and Parker. When Barnes plays SF, Harkless can also be a quality backup. Kings also receive Chris Silva, a young big who possesses fine defensive instincts and shot-blocking, which make him an intriguing fit next to Bagley in the future. Sacramento also receives a second-round pick to sweeten the pot. Bjelica has been wanting out as well:

Miami acquires the stretch 4 they need whereas Sacramento solves team needs and acquires long-term assets.

Is this a good trade?
