After both Reports of Realistic opportunities for Miami to ship out Butler and for Sacramento to ship out Fox, the Spurs have been listed as “Quiet Favorites” to land both.
This trade would land two Star (borderline superstar) players, who would create a new big three. The Spurs would still manage to keep impactful role players like Vassell, Sochan, and Castle. On top of that they would take on two more impactful role player vets with Love and Burks, who can help make sure that their depth does not get depleted.
Is this Realistic? Ehh probably not, but it would be a way to full advantage of Victors window (which is from 20 years old to 40 years old). I don’t think this will happens, but maybe there’s a universe that it does.
