steph curry is anderson, and dirk is steinbach. This just might be our best case scenario after lamelo gone and when we move bridges. Just remember we will never win the best options or even second best options in free agency, we are charlotte. But i think trading for brooks would be best case scenario, he makes teams better and is a playoff piece that holds value, he is always healthy and an enforcer, hes entertaining and is a very good defender and can knock down 3's and also cause chaos in the paint. The big question is the point guard spot, i do not think we start coby white unless we have to or he wants to start. He is a 6th man at heart and if we start him and we end up back in tank mode his value instantly goes down so much in trade value. He is best running the offense off second unit for any team, so he is our core for the bench. Since the Lamelo trade i literally cant think of one pg that charlotte can get in free agency or a trade for miles bridges that could end up starting on the current roster. Kon K could easily become the starting PG and let brandon miller pay the 2, so in my opinion we trade miles for a 3 wing that we can keep for ever or end up trading away when we are ready to over pay for a superstar. And in my opinion this involves going after Franz Wagner and his brother Morritz Wagner solidifying the German connection in Charlotte. I think Paolo is the target overall but Orlando wont let him go unless we overpay everything. If i was in the Charlottes front office, this would be on my options board for future grabs, because from 2028-2030 there is massive free agency allstar superstar moves that are going to be made, and the dynasty veterans will be retiring right behind lebron james and others. Now the super unrealistic goal that mirrors this exact same theory would be to grab Cooper Flag in 2028-2030, but this would almost certainly require the mavs to be the worst team in the NBA similar to how the Hornets have been so bad with lamelo and then rebuilding to a point where the mavs youth will grow and give Mavs an option to trade Flagg out for size picks etc, just like how the hornets just did. There is like 0.00000001% chance that this happens, but having the option always open is what seems to be the trajectory.
