Assuming Terry Rozier will get a lifetime ban by this time, the league will ask the Hornets to return the first round pick they used back.
Charlotte trades LaMelo off and start the new era of Hornets basketball with Brandon Miller (if he stays healthy) and Kon at the forefront. They bring in Rui and Davion, but they are both obviously on the team short term with one on an expiring the other with two years left. Both will add to the depth and will help bring this team out of the dumps. Also, there is currently 16 players on roster, I expect that they will eventually cut someone like Josh Green or Mason Plumlee, Green would likely be a deadline buyout.
Projected Lineup For The Hornets
PG - Collin Sexton - Davion Mitchell - Josh Green
SG - Kon Knueppel - Tre Mann - Pat Connaughton
SF - Brandon Miller - Sion James - Liam McNeeley
PF - Miles Bridges - Rui Hachimura - Grant Williams - Tidjane Salaun
C - Ryan Kalkbrenner - Moussa Diabate - Mason Plumlee
The Heat finally land them a superstar, though the only issue with this superstar is availability. When available, he has brought a lot to the plate for the Hornets and I expect Miami to be going all in because Pat Riley call work around some of his issues and be able to sign or trade plug and play guys when he is out of the lineup. They also bring back Gabe Vincent who I feel like Miami was the only team who seemed to be able to use him correctly.
Prohected Lineup For The Heat
PG - LaMelo Ball - Gabe Vincent - Kasparas Jakucionis
SG - Tyler Herro - Pelle Larsson - Dru Smith
SF - Norman Powell - Simone Fontecchio - Keshad Johnson
PF - Bam Adebayo - Jaime Jaquez Jr
C - Kel'el Ware - Nikola Jovic
I'm beating a dead horse on this one. Lakers wanted Andrew Wiggins in the off season, them and the Heat couldn't get things worked out so things cooled off. Now that they in the season and if they trade for LaMelo, the Heat will likely have to trade Wiggins. The Hornets will say they don't want him cause they already have Kon, BM, and Bridges so why add a fourth wing/forward? The offer Wiggins to the Lakers and work out a deal with them where Heat only trade one pick while the Lakers swap rights to their upcoming pick trying to make sure they will have more than one pick in this draft. The Lakers also get Wiggins to bolster their team and depth to become final contenders.
Projected Lineup For The Lakers
PG - Luka Doncic - Marcus Smart - Bronny James
SG - Austin Reaves - Dalton Knecht
SF - Andrew Wiggins - Jake LaRavia - Adou Thiero
PF - LeBron James - Jarred Vanderbilt - Maxi Kleber
C - Deandre Ayton - Jaxson Hayes
Thoughts?
