(Hornets draft Brandon Miller with the second pick) ~ Why would the Hornets draft Scoot Henderson with Lamelo Ball? They go the Brandon Miller Route and give him decent minutes but Miles gets priority at the 3 spot. Brandon can play the 2 and 4 for the Hornets and gets okay minutes at the 3 position behind Miles. (Hornets re-sign Miles Bridges) ~ It is a no brainer for the Hornets, Miles has really proved himself this season and is worth the contract. He will continue to develop and start as either the 2 or the 3. Hornets do this trade because they don’t need another Small Forward but they do need a better front court. (Cody Martin is in for value, Wizards use him as a backup and he gets limited minutes) Wizards do this trade because they need a good Small Forward and the pick is useful for them.
