I will be trading Hayward for Isaac even though as a gamble to free up cap space due to his massive $31M contract. Isaac when healthy is a defensive anchor, which is a valuable asset on the court.
As for Conley, I thought of trading for him due to his veteran presence to mentor Scoot and LaMelo. Rozier's scoring is essential for the Wolves as well that may compliment ANT's playstyle.
Signing Jerami will keep scoring consistent. I have no issue with Miles on the floor other than his off-court dilemma's, hence signing Grant will be a good replacement for him.
Choosing Bouknight over Oubre may shake the outcome of the roster if Bouknight does not develop. Again, this has to do with maintaining a balanced cap space to sign role players.
I signed Biyombo as well for his cheap contract, as he can protect the paint well which clearly Charlotte lacked last season.
Lastly, for the rookie signings, I chose Scoot over Brandon Miller for his trade value and overall. I believe his ceiling is higher and is much more talented. LaMelo isn't as ball dominant and they may turn out a great backcourt such as Garland/Mitchell, Murray/Young or the old CJ/Dame.
Either of the four mentioned for the 27th pick is a must as we will be needing a forward that can play the 2 or 4. Charlotte needs length.
Hope the Hornets reach at least the playoffs with these changes.
